Autism affects as many as 1 in 88 children born today, impacting their ability to interact with the world around them, their social relationships communication and sensory interpretations. Giant Steps provides educational and therapeutic services in a caring, respectful environment for individuals and groups touched by autism spectrum disorders. Through individualized programs focused on learning, social and physical development, we turn small steps into giant steps for our students.

In the fall of 2009, Giant Steps converted a 72,000 sq. ft. facility in Lisle into a unique, autism specific learning environment. At the same time, we launched the Giant Steps Community Campaign. The purpose of this campaign is clear: fully fund our one-of-a-kind facility in an effort to free up the working capital essential for programming, innovation and expansion of autism specific services.
